The scientific work of the Management Department
The scientific work of the Management Department is carried out under the priority thematic area of research and scientific and technological development: basic scientific research on the most important problems of the development of scientific and technical, socio-economic, socio-political, human potential for ensuring the competitiveness of Ukraine in the world and sustainable development of society; and states, namely: basic research on current issues in the social sciences and humanities.

Aim of the research: to explore and improve the theoretical, scientific and practical and methodological principles of economic management of international forms of business and entrepreneurship based on the principles of sustainable development and economic security.
Expected scientific results: formation of theoretical, scientific-methodological and scientific-practical principles of management of economic systems of international forms of business based on sustainable development and economic and energy security of industrial enterprises of different forms of ownership in the context of European integration. Formation of a strategy for the development of spatial polarization. Aim of the research: investigation of the current state, features and mechanisms of implementation of innovative business activity in the conditions of neo-industrial economy on the basis of systematic analysis of its essence, functions and principles and development of theoretical, methodological and scientific-practical recommendations for managing the development of small innovative business structures for the needs of innovative formation – entrepreneurial model of development of domestic industrial enterprises and applied recommendations for the organization of anew iynoho business and improving relations between the parties startup projects.
Expected scientific results: Investigation of the current state, features and mechanisms of innovative business activity based on systematic analysis of its essence, functions and principles. Generalization and analysis of foreign experience in the development and management of innovative entrepreneurship. Determination of mechanisms for ensuring non-industrial transformation of the domestic economy based on the development of innovative entrepreneurial activity. Development of theoretical, methodological and scientific-practical recommendations for managing the development of small innovative business structures and forming an innovative-entrepreneurial model for the development of domestic industrial enterprises. Formulation of applied recommendations for organization of innovative entrepreneurship and improvement of relationships between participants of startup projects.
Scientific schools of Management Department
At present the scientific school has been formed at the department, under the direction of Doctor of Economics, Prof. Dergachova V., which was founded in 2008 Branch of science: economic sciences (economics and enterprise management (by type of economic activity), the world economy and international economic relations). During the period of existence of the school, the scientific direction of research was formed: globalization under conditions of cyclical development of the world economy, international economic activity, sustainable development and economic security of the national economy, strategies of socio-economic development.
Within the scientific school there were formed several research directions as the basis for the development of scientific thought of Postdoctoral and Postgraduate students:

- Strategic management of economic security of industrial enterprises in the context of European integration
- Innovative development of power engineering enterprises.
