\u203c\ufe0f\ud83c\udf89 Sofiia Hudzovska, an MBA student, participated in the Erasmus+ project #ClimeArt in the summer of 2025, which took place in Vienna, \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf9.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

\u2705\ud83d\udc4dFrom August 19 to 26, 2025, the ClimeART training course, sponsored by the Erasmus+ program, was held in Vienna. The main goal of the training was to explore climate change and connect it with art. Over the week, 25 participants from 12 countries worked on developing their skills in public speaking, teamwork, leadership, and tried their hand at various forms of art.<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>\u2705\ud83c\udf89As a result of the training, the participants successfully organized a public performance in the center of Vienna, Austria \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf9, titled “War causes water shortage, water shortage causes war.” This performance highlighted the impact of wars on the environment, particularly the water disasters in Ukraine\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6, the Gaza Strip, and other regions of the world. Through a “silent protest,” they drew the attention of ordinary passers-by in Vienna to issues they might not have considered before.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

We are pleased to share the success story of Viktoriia Tishchenko, a master’s student at the Faculty of Management and Marketing, who participated this year in the prestigious Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) program, organized by Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

The GCF program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to conduct two to three months of research under the mentorship of leading scientists, working on the campus of NTU\u2014a modern and multicultural university that is a leader in innovation and research.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

I studied at the University of Zagreb, taking courses in international business management. This semester in Croatia was an invaluable experience and a milestone in my life. During this time, I visited various places in Croatia and 5 other countries, met people from all over the world, and most importantly, gained experience and knowledge essential for my future career.<\/span>

On November 11th, 43 graduate\/undergraduate students and young professionals participating in MIRAI 2024\/2025 (\u201cDiplomacy\/National Security\u201d, \u201cEconomy\/Business\u201d and \u201cEnvironment\/Green\u201d group) held a final reporting session of the visiting Japan Program at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. FUKAZAWA Yoichi participated in the session as a representative of the Ministry.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At his welcome speech, Mr. Fukazawa stated that, as the international community is at a turning point in history and the future of the world is becoming increasingly uncertain, it is important to cooperate and coordinate beyond the frameworks of countries and regions. He also expressed his expectation that each participant plays an active role as a bridge between Japan and Europe in the future.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

Maria the interesting experience, visiting two educational places such as Hitotsubashi University and the middle school in Japan! The university is so gorgeous and has an energetic that gives you a power of knowledge. And about the school, while watching anime and reading manga, I was very fascinated by the school atmosphere, and after I saw it in real life, I realized that everything was copied from real life: these desks, corridors, and gymnasium. And the reaction of the children themselves is beyond words! So many lively emotions and joy in their eyes. I am incredibly happy that I was able to realize my dream.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

Participating in academic mobility programs and international projects has been one of the most valuable experiences of my student life. From February to June 2023, I had the opportunity to study at the University of C\u00f3rdoba in Spain through the Erasmus+ programme. In early 2024, I joined another Erasmus+ semester at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, focusing on “Business Consultancy \u2013 Design and Changes.” Later that year, I also took part in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project with universities from Germany and Ukraine. Each of these experiences helped me grow both personally and professionally. I met inspiring people from all over the world, developed my teamwork and communication skills, and gained practical knowledge in real international settings. I strongly encourage every student to take part in such opportunities\u2014they are truly eye-opening and provide a strong foundation for future career growth in the global business environment.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

The program’s goal is to create opportunities for people from different countries to meet and get to know each other. In this way, STP aims to build and develop relationships in our part of Europe. The guiding principle in this process is the people, institutions, and organizations from Poland who share their success stories and challenges with the participants.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

As noted by the program participant, FMM student Mariia, STP is not only about gaining new experiences but also about sharing one’s own. Spending leisure time with other participants, organizers, and volunteers provides an opportunity to get to know peers from neighboring countries better and make new friends.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

This summer, from July 14 to July 27, I had the honor of participating in the On-site English course at Gda\u0144sk University of Technology. \ud83c\udfec<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

Together with twenty other girls from KPI, we attended English classes, participated in discussions on various topics, and completed numerous interactive tasks.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

In addition to our studies, we went on several excursions organized by Gda\u0144sk University of Technology: to the Gda\u0144sk Shipyard (Stocznia Gda\u0144ska) and Malbork Castle. We were amazed by the history and scale of these places. \u2728<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

We also had a great time outside of class: we walked through the city center, went to the seaside, visited museums, and took lots of pictures \ud83d\udcf8<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

Participation of students from the Department of Enterprise Management at KPI in the international project DILLUGIS 2024<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

From March 18 to July 31, 2024, Oleksandr Plotnikov, a student from the Department of Enterprise Management (UV-32, Management and Business Administration program) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, participated in the international project DILLUGIS 2024, funded by the DAAD program. Within the project, students took courses at the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden, specifically “Product Management” and “Business Simulation.”<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>In the “Product Management” course, KPI students, together with colleagues from other Ukrainian universities, developed an innovative project for a mobile application for storing medical information, designed to help international students with medical support in a new country. The project received high praise from the lecturers of the East Bavarian Technical University and international students.<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>During the “Business Simulation” course, students participated in an interactive business game that involved developing a startup concept and growing it in a competitive environment.<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>Participation in the DILLUGIS 2024 project was an important step in the students’ professional development, providing them with new knowledge, practical skills, and experience in international collaboration.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

\u2705\ud83c\udf89\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6Viktoriia Herieieva, a student of the Management and Business Administration program (group UV-21, FMM), attended the international youth exchange “How nutrition affects our health and culture,” which took place in the picturesque town of Eastermar, Netherlands, from March 5-11, 2024.<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>\u203c\ufe0fIt was an exciting and unique journey, as it was Viktoriia’s first time flying on a plane\u2708\ufe0f. She also saw Warsaw and Amsterdam during her travels, met like-minded people from 4\ufe0f\u20e3 other countries, and had the chance to taste national dishes and immerse herself in the local culture.<\/span>
<\/ms-cmark-node>\u25b6\ufe0fThe project was jointly organized by NGOs: the host organization Youth Line and, in Ukraine, the Foundation for Regional Initiatives (FRI) and others. It was thanks to her membership in FRI that Viktoriia was able to participate in the exchange, as she has been involved in public activities, particularly in the international sphere, for several years.<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

I participated in this program last July in Di\u00f3sjen\u0151\u2014a small town 2 hours from Budapest. Over those 10 days, I had a ton of emotions and a very positive experience!!) The program was designed to include both personal development and self-reflection, as well as teamwork skills. We learned various tools for organizing events and volunteering, applied these skills in practice, and at the end of our stay, we organized our own event for the Town Day! Besides the main task of creating a celebration for children, we also did other activities during the trip: we organized an outdoor hike, formed teams and completed assigned tasks, shared our own experiences and knowledge, and communicated with foreigners, which greatly developed our soft skills. After this program, I became more confident in my abilities, learned to structure tasks, and realized that nothing is impossible if you really want it!))<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

The program also included a cultural exchange: in addition to my team from Ukraine, I met very interesting people from Hungary, Romania, and Spain. I recall these meetings warmly to this day, as I still keep in touch with several people\ud83e\udd17\ud83e\udd17. The cultural exchange involved presenting our own country, so we not only learned about the unique aspects of other participants’ homelands but also shared about Ukraine, including teaching them how to celebrate Ivana Kupala Day:)<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

I participated in the DILLUGIS project for two semesters. The first time, I chose Industrial Engineering and German language studies from the list of available programs. The courses were held online, which allowed me to study with students from universities in other countries!) The first program included lectures in English, additional informational materials, and practical assignments to reinforce the topics covered. In this course, I was able to deepen my understanding of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, study methods for optimizing production processes and lean manufacturing in more detail, and delve into the essence of Quality Management. During the classes, I had the opportunity to ask additional questions and noted the high competence of the lecturers. We also had the chance to present on a chosen topic in the course, which further enhanced our communication skills\ud83e\udd17<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As for German, the classes were more interactive: we learned by completing tasks and listening to audio, as well as through direct real-life communication. The instructor provided a lot of interesting information and excellent tips for better understanding. I want to highlight how enjoyable the classes were and how beneficial this course was!<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n

In the second semester, I chose a course on startup project management. In it, we studied truly relevant theory that structured all the components of organizing one’s own startup! We learned about successful and not-so-successful case studies, watched useful videos, learned how to calculate key indicators to justify decisions, and explored the specifics of implementing startups in different countries. I was able to apply this knowledge directly in practice\u2014at the end of the course, teams presented their own ideas for future startup projects\u2764\ufe0f. This course was held in a hybrid format, but I really appreciated the instructors’ ability to unite and engage both the offline and online audiences!\ud83e\udd17\ud83e\udd17<\/span><\/ms-cmark-node><\/p>\n
